Silverleaf, the cocktail bar at Pan Pacific London, is welcoming four globally-renowned female bartenders for a spesh bar takeover (the bar’s biggest one yet) in honour of International Women’s Day. During the day Anna Sebastian, founder of Celebrate Her, a platform that supports women in hospitality, will be hosting a masterclass with other ambassadors and bartenders to talk about women’s roles in the drinks industry. Come evening, the guest bartenders – Chiara Tomei of L’Antiquario in Italy, Erin Hayes of Black Lagoon in the US, Selenia Di Palma of Edinburgh’s Panda & Sons, and Cherry Lee of Origin Bar in Singapore – will shake up an exclusive serve made using the Hendrick’s Gin brands, while Chantelle Ayanna and Max Kion provide the soundtrack.
If that wasn’t reason enough to head down, a portion of the proceeds from the night will be donated to Equal Measures, which works to support marginalised groups in the drinks and hospitality industries.
