INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY AT KITCHEN W8

Kitchen W8′s Mark Kempson is partnering with MasterChef: The Professionals 2022 winner Nikita Pathakji (who was, until recently, part of Mark’s kitchen team) on a spesh International Women’s Day dinner to raise money for the Women for Women charity. Each chef will take on three of the menu’s six courses, with Mark preparing scorched Cornish mackerel with smoked eel and golden beets; a warm salad of new season’s vegetables with wild garlic leaf and salt cod croquettes; and Yorkshire rhubarb & blood orange sorbet with white chocolate and almond. Nikita is cooking one of her MasterChef dishes – lobster tortellini with laksa-inspired sauce & crispy rice noodles – as well as squab pigeon with braised leg
tartlet, pomme Anna, parsnip purée, pear and yuzu; and a banana pudding with chocolate mousse, caramel and peanut
crumble.

Wines for the £175 menu will be paired by Head Kitchen W8’s Head Sommelier Emma Findlayson, and, in-keeping with the theme, be sourced from female producers and owners.
