If you wanna up your IGTV game then you need to get down to the IGTV Academy LDN in Shoreditch. Instagram has teamed up with some of the best content creators on the channel to host a series of workshops covering music vids, comedy, sport, beauty and presenting, designed to help you learn how to produce the best long-form, vertical content.
Director Matthew Walker, who’s created music videos for the likes of Skepta, JME and Giggs, will share his editing tips and tricks before shooting a vid for Big Zuu in the studio; co-creator of Murder in Successville Tom Davies will appear at the comedy workshop, where you’ll be able to create your own short form sketch; street footballer Jack Downer will show you how to capture moving footage for the IGTV frame and SPORF will tackle creating long-form vertical content; make-up artists Abby Roberts and Ellis Atlantis will teach you how to do Halloween SFX make-up; and Chicken Shop Date presenter Amelia Dimoldenberg will share interviewing advice.
