Getting to Greece this spring looks like it might be tricky so Greece is coming to us instead in the shape of INO, the new restaurant from the founders of OPSO in Marylebone. Opening in Soho this May INO will be all about live-fire cooking, with a charcoal grill and rotisserie at the front of the restaurant complete with counter seats to watch the action from.
The menu is set to include dishes like prime short rib chops, house cured mackerel skewers, lamb sweetbreads skewers, catch of the day carpaccio, sardine sashimi, Iberico pork secreto souvlaki, and fish cheeks with tomato & parsley salsa. The wine list will be all Greek, changing regularly to feature new and exciting producers, and all the wines on the list will be available by the glass so you’ll be able to experiment easily, with draft beers and barrel-aged cocktails available for the non-vino drinkers.
