Following successful sites in New Delhi and New York, Indian Accent is opening up in London and considering how highly rated the New Delhi outpost is (it’s on the World’s 50 Best list and the top rated Trip Advisor restaurant in the country), we’re a little bit excited. The food is a modern take on traditional Indian dishes with the likes of soy keema, quail egg and lime leaf butter pao; makhan malai, a medieval dish made of aerated milk infused with saffron; and ghee roast lamb with roomali roti pancakes. There’ll also be some British additions in homage to the London location – black pudding will be stuffed inside kulcha flatbreads and the Albemarle Chai Punch (house-made milk punch, Batavia Arrack, Earl Grey and Virgin Amaro) will be added to the cocktail list. Sounds like it’s going to be a hit.
Opens Thurs 14th December 2017
16 Albemarle Street, London, W1S 4HW
