Listen up Highbury peeps! Westerns Laundry is having a BBQ in the private courtyard by the restaurant, with merguez & squid with chickpeas & aioli on the menu at £10 a portion. It’s a takeaway only operation but the team have devised a nifty queuing system – you order the food at the welcome station, and you can also buy drinks like negronis, beers and sparkling wine to enjoy whilst you make your way around the sitting down queue towards the food collection point. They’ve even done a little drawing here.
Once you’ve got your food, you can then take it to Highbury Fields, Gillespie Park or basically wherever you want. There will only be 250 portions of food so if you want some, you’d best get down there early doors.
