imperial treasure to open in london
Whilst we’re (still) waiting for Din Tai Fung to open over here, we’ve got news of another acclaimed Chinese restaurant coming to London. Imperial Treasure, which has branches across China, Singapore, Hong Kong and South Korea – the Shanghai restaurant has two Michelin stars whilst the HK and Singapore restaurants have one apiece – is opening a three-floor space in St James’s in December.
This’ll be their first restaurant outside of Asia but according to their website, they’ve got designs on Paris next year. Given those creds and a menu that includes caviar with scrambled egg white, baked crab with pepper and grilled silver cod, you can expect this to be more of a fine dining affair. Peking duck is one of Imperial Treasure’s signature dishes, and it’s served sliced at the table, so that’s sure to be the showstopper.
Imperial Treasure is running a very special soft launch offer, knocking 50% OFF that whole Peking duck (usually £100) from 3rd – 17th December so if you want in, make sure you book in advance.
In the mood for Chinese food right now? Here’s where to get it.
Opens December 2018
