A new public artwork has appeared in Bloomberg Arcade thanks to Artichoke (the creative team behind Lumiere Festival) and NOVAK, and it’s all about addressing the climate emergency. Imminence is an illuminated installation highlighting the consequences of climate change, like coral bleaching, deforestation, arctic sea ice volume and bee extinction. The projections are accompanied by an Ed Carter-produced score, which draws on climate data from 1880 to the present day. So if you’re out and about in the area, stop by and get inspired to take action.
