An AI-Powered Immersive Elvis Experience Is Coming to London

Immersive events company Layered Reality have tasked themselves with the job of bringing Elvis back to life

Though most of us Londoners never got the chance to see Elvis perform live, a new immersive experience is promising to bring the King to the capital next year – well, kinda. The award-winning producers of ‘The Gunpowder Plot’ and ‘Jeff Wayne’s The War of the Worlds: The Immersive Experience’, Layered Reality, have announced that ‘Elvis Evolution’ will officially open in May, giving fans a rare look into Elvis’ world through a range of multi-sensory effects.

Having acquired access to an archive of Elvis’ personal photos and home videos, the show will offer an intimate look at the phases of Elvis’s life and career. Though there was some talk of holographic performances when Layered Reality first announced ‘Elvis Evolution’ earlier this year, it sounds like that’s no longer part of the plan, though the experience will centre around the iconic ’68 Comeback Special. At the end of the show, guests will be invited to an ‘after party’ at the central London location’s (which hasn’t been announced yet) Elvis-themed restaurant and bar, complete with live music and DJs.

About the upcoming immersive experience, founder and CEO of Layered Reality Andrew McGuinness said: “Elvis Evolution is a next generation tribute to the musical legend that is Elvis Presley. Elvis maintains superstar status globally and people around the world no longer want to sit and passively receive entertainment – they want to be a part of it. It’ll be a memory-making experience that will be a bucket list item for Elvis fans and music lovers and for those who just love an uplifting night out.”

Tickets go on sale at 11am on Fri 25th October, with prices starting at £75 – here’s how to get your hands on yours.
