Imad’s Syrian Kitchen in Kingly Court is hosting some of the UK’s top chefs and food writers for Souk el Salam, a peace market designed to raise money for aid to Gaza. As well as the restaurant’s founder Imad Al Arnab and organisers Sami Tamimi and Noor Murad, the likes of Ravinder Bhogal, Ixta Belfrage, Toad Bakery, Nicole Pisani, Jordon Ezra King, Philip Juma, Melek Erdal, and Dina Macki, will be running stalls with products from Zaytoon, Shorkk and Fil also available to buy.
Tickets cost £14 and include two food items from any of the stalls, with additional tokens on offer at the door for £7. All the money raised from the market is going to the Amos Trust, which works at grassroots levels to help Palestinians in Gaza.
