Let us pray to the God of the Disco-Pop-Classics as he has bestowed another gift upon our ears. Duo Huon Kind are the messengers of a divine gift via the medium of their new single, ‘Feel Like This’. In the recent influx of artists creating 80s inspired pop, this has to be the most authentic; the track is incredibly slick, soulful and polished.
Their track embodies the charisma of the 80s, the sound of a Luther Vandross track and the addictiveness of Cadbury’s chocolate buttons. As far as debut tracks go, we think this one is pretty impressive. The Sydney based group have a cool disco style is impossible not to melt into as they provide uncomplicated, uncluttered funky bliss.
It is not difficult to hear that the boys originate from down under, the land of eternal summer- with their quasi-disco-funk it is almost impossible not to drift away into a daydream about distant summer, festivals and refreshingly cold pints in the park.
