A Hunza G sample sale is coming to London for two days only
We may be at the end of summer, but does that really mean you can’t buy yourself a new cossie? We say no, especially when it’s Hunza G swimwear which is designed to last – and (even more especially) when there’s a Hunza G sample sale. If you’re not already familiar with the brand, Hunza G was born nearly 40 years ago in 1984, but back then it was known simply as ‘Hunza’. Their USPs were the crinkle-stretch fabric and high-cut, leggy designs many of which became iconic pieces of fashion history (Julia Roberts’ cut-out dress in Pretty Women was a Hunza).
The ‘G’ in Hunza G was added in 2015, when Georgiana Huddart relaunched the brand, becoming creative director, after a long-time love of their signature fabric. Since then, Hunza G has become even more synonymous with the beach, specialising in swimwear and beachy fits (though they’ve also got plenty of essentials that you can wear anywhere). Plus, the brand still has that vibrant 80s touch intact, so fans of all things bright and beautiful are well catered to.
But back to the crux: When and where is the Hunza G sample sale? The brand will be hosting the sample sale at their pop-up shop in Covent Garden on Weds 11th and Thurs 12th September. We’re not sure exactly what the discounts will be but at their sample sale last year, prices we’re slashed by up to 75%, so we’d expect something similar this time around. Entry is by RSVP only, so make sure you reserve a free ticket, and it’ll cost £2 to get in on the door, which will be donated to Mentoring Matters, an international mentoring scheme for candidates from Black, Asian & Minority Ethnic backgrounds.
