The most important meal of the week has just had a massive upgrade as Hubbard & Bell, the all-day joint inside The Hoxton, Holborn is launching a Sunday roast with UNLIMITED roasties and Yorkshire puds on Sunday 10th March. We think that bears repeating….bottomless tatties and bottomless puds, which everyone knows are the two best bits.
For £20 per person, you can choose between slow-roasted lamb shoulder, herb-fed spatchcock chicken, or mushroom wellington with all the trimmings – roast heritage carrots, honey-roasted parsnips, caramelised chicory and gravy – plus as many potatoes and Yorkshires you can eat (the answer is A LOT). And if you still have room after that, you can add on a giant hot apple Yorkshire pudding pancake with bourbon caramel, pecans and cornflakes ice cream, which’ll need to be followed by a swift lie down.
