HOW TO WORKOUT AT HOME WITH INDIA BAILEY

If you’re wanting to focus on fitness this year but don’t want to fork out for expensive gyms or are in need of a little extra motivation, we’ve got just the person to help you out. Fitness is in India Bailey’s blood – she grew up playing a whole range of sports, ski raced competitively until university and became a spin instructor and was Head of Cycle at Core Collective. She’s been a coach for the past seven years, and now teaches an array of classes such as Strength & Conditioning, Spinning and Versa Climbing at 1Rebel and BXR, as well as being a global Talent Trainer for one of the world’s leading gym equipment brands.

If you’re trying to save money on a gym membership or you just don’t have time to be heading out and about to classes, India has created three workouts that are perfect to do at home, whether you’re short on space, short on equipment or short on time.

NO SPACE? NO PROBLEM

These exercises are performed at home and in a smaller space, so you can too! Grab a set of dumbbells and follow the class set in the caption with demos from India. This session is aimed at intermediate levels and the individual should aim to place a focus on form over speed.

NO KIT? TRY THIS

No equipment? No problem. Try these at home or on the gym floor. Follow along with India who will raise your heart rate, have you feeling the burn and surely make you sweat. These are explosive movements and targeted towards intermediate trainers. For beginners: eliminate any jumping and take things at a slower pace.

FOR PEEPS ON THE GO

This is a mobility and flexibility workout that can be done after the plane or after a long day at the office. Your wellness goals should always include recovery and mobility – getting fit isn’t always about hitting it hard and fast. There’s a time and a place for taking things slow, with intention and giving thanks to your body.

THE COOLDOWN

India also has a plethora of workouts on the Technogym App which can be downloaded and taken with you wherever you go. From 5 min to 30 min sessions, there’s something for everyone (and it’s just £7.50 a month). Follow India over on the gram here.
