The Wimbledon Public Ballot is now open – here’s how to score tickets to Wimbledon 2024
It feels like only yesterday that the world’s tennis superstars were battling it out for the trophy at Wimbledon 2023, but it’s already time to start thinking about next year. Big-time Wimbledon fans know that the Ballot is *the* way to secure tickets if you aren’t royalty or a celebrity – or some amalgamation of both – so, if you wanna be in with a chance of going, you’ll want your name thrown into that hat.
When is Wimbledon 2024?
Next year’s Wimbledon tournament will begin on Mon 1st July and conclude on Sun 14th July 2024.
How long is the Wimbledon Public Ballot open for?
The Ballot opened on Wed 26th September and you’ll be able to submit an application until 11:59pm on Tues 10th October 2023.
How can you apply for the Wimbledon Public Ballot?
It’s very easy to apply, all you need to do is head to the Wimbledon website and log in or register to start your application. You’ll need to enter some personal details, such as your address and phone number, and specify if you require entry into the Wheelchair Ballot.
Successful Ballot entrants are picked at random and there’s no benefit to applying early.
What kind of tickets can you get?
Successful Wimbledon Public Ballot entrants will be offered tickets on either Centre Court, No.1 Court, No.2 Court or No.3 Court for a single day of The Championships 2024. They’ll then be given the option of one pair of tickets or two single tickets, which will be made available after all the pairs have been offered.
How much do Wimbledon tickets cost?
Tickets to Wimbledon 2024 start from as low as £20 for ground passes on days 12 to 14 of The Championships and go up to £275 for Centre Court seats on days 13 and 14.
What can I do if I can’t get Wimbledon tickets?
If you weren’t successful in the Ballot, you can have a go at nabbing seats on the day by joining the infamous Wimbledon Queue, or you can watch all the action live at one of London’s many outdoor screenings.
