After launching his new concept Hotel Savioli, inspired by the hotel his great aunt and uncle ran in Riccione in Italy, with a sando pop-up at Hackney wine bar Silver Lining this Easter, chef Jack Padoan is back with his next event. And this time it’s gonna be a proper sit-down affair at Catalyst Cafe in Chancery Lane, with a £60 set menu featuring dishes like cured mackerel with fennel, apple & blood orange vinaigrette; his OG dish, smoked ox tongue, cod cheeks & bone marrow aioli sandwich; lamb shank with parmesan polenta & salsa verde; and chocolate mousse with sea salt & hazelnut crumb, plus additional sides like crab croquettes and Pink Fir potatoes with Catalyst’s coffee sriracha.
