We get more minimal soulful electronica from the Honne boys with their latest release and their sophomore single ‘All in The Value’. This follows the success of debut single ‘Warm on a Cold Night’ – which hit Spotify’s US Most Viral Chart, made the top 10 on Hype Machine and garnered support across the radio waves.
The London based duo, Andy on vocals and James on production, take their musical inspiration from their original west coast roots and create R&B infused James Blake style dub step tunes. The fusion of indie and electronic blends vocal and visceral beats to produce deep ambient chilled late night sounds.
The Honne boys met during university and went on to hone their musical craft as guitar teachers in schools, out of hours they’ve developed their skills and continue to make themselves known in the world of indie electronica. Honne play at LDN’s Electrowerkz on 3rd Feb and are lined up to play at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival.
