Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich are adding to their restaurant collection with Honey & Co Daily this September
The Honey & Co team certainly have a fondness for Fitzrovia and Bloomsbury, with Honey & Co, grill restaurant Honey & Smoke and food shop Honey & Spice all located between Great Portland Street and Lamb’s Conduit Street, and now there’s a new spot on the way. Deli, bakery and cafe Honey & Co Daily will be almost bang in the middle on Store Street and will be split into two sections – a deli and takeaway space in the front, where you can get coffees, pastries, cakes and to-go lunches, and a 40-seater dining room at the back.
Baking will be at the heart of the Honey & Co Daily operation, in tribute to Sarit, with Itamar saying “Our whole operation is powered by my wife Sarit, not least our pastry section – a fairy of sugar, fruit and flour, she conjures up incredible baked goods seemingly without moving, certainly without measuring too much, performing something not far from pure magic. This place is truly the space she deserves, a brand new kitchen dedicated to her art”. The opening menu is set to include a range of Middle Eastern pastries, cakes, lachma, breads and sandwiches alongside salads, shakshukas and dips.
Honey & Co Daily will also host supper clubs on Friday and Saturday nights and on special holidays, kicking off with a big Rosh Hashanah feast, so if that sounds up your street, make sure you’re on the Honey & Co mailing list to get tickets.
