Unlessyou’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you can’t have failed to notice that burgers are big business…
Honest Burgers started in Brixton before moving into Soho and Camden and this week, their fourth venue arrived in Portobello Road, bringing quality burgers to the people of Notting Hill. Honest Burgers are serious about quality, their rare breed beef is sourced from top butchers The Ginger Pig, and the triple fried chips coated in rosemary salt are an absolute must for all visitors.
To celebrate their launch, Sunday 13th October has been designated as ‘Honesty Day’ where customers will be invited to pay whatever they believe the meal is worth between midday until 5pm, with all proceeds going to The Prince’s Trust. What could be more honest than that? As with the rest of their chain, Honest Burgers don’t take reservations and are strictly first come first served. However, they do have a live queue tracker which allows you to monitor the length of the queue wherever you are and time your visit to beat the rush.
The menu at Honest Burgers keeps it simple – chicken burger, veggie fritter burger or three types of beef; the standard beefburger, cheese burger or Honest Burger with cheese and bacon. All the patties are thick, juicy and pink in the middle, with toppings including sticky, sweet red onion relish and crispy smoked bacon. And don’t forget to order the addictive rosemary chips!
