wise man once said that alcohol is the problem and solution to all man’s problems. That man was Homer Simpson – but he’s wise isn’t he?! Those people who do love a beer to the extent of brewing their own batch in their garden shed may like to get involved in the all new HomeBrew Club at The Craft Beer Co in Clerkenwell. Held in their upstairs room each and every Sunday from now on, forever and ever, well to just before Christmas anyway, the HomeBrew Club will be the place to go for budding home brewers to discuss and experiment. And that’s not all, there will also be talks from experts and prizes. Yes prizes. One lucky member of the HomeBrew Club will have the opportunity to have their beer brewed by a commercial brewer and exclusively sold at all The Craft Beer Co sites. Second place prize is £200 worth of bottled beer and third place wins £100. To enter all you have to do is attend the HomeBrew Club and submit six bottles of beer to be blind taste tested by October 31st – judging will take place in November and the lucky winner of the grand prize will be brewing in January.
