Fulton’s AW16 collection premiered at LFW this weekend and boy was it a goody. Girls, it looks like your winter wardrobe is pretty much sorted…and your bank balance ruined. Dropped throughout the monochrome show was a delicious palette of deep chocolate, moss green and dusty pink. The native Scot featured a modern paisley motif which was literally everywhere, printed and embroidered on to pretty much every piece. However our favourite pieces were not the clothes but the bags.Taking the paisley a giving it a Western edge, the bags celebrate the eccentric splendour of the late British surrealist Eileen Agar. The trunk-like shape of each features rhythmic tidal waves on plush suedes and nappa leathers. Available in three sizes, the largest is big enough for a weekend away and the smallest, just big enough for the night’s essentials. Most surprisingly, the bags are exclusive to Fortnum & Mason, a rather unlikely match, which makes us love them even more…because that means we’ll buying tea to fill the bag, naturally.
