If you’ve been to Holborn Dining Room (or you’ve listened to his episode of Yes Chef) then you already know that Calum Franklin is turning out some of the best pies in town – he even added a Pie Room to the restaurant, that’s how much he loves them – and now he’s taking the pastry game to a whole new level by launching the Pie Room Guest Series. During the series some of the biggest names in the biz will be creating special guest pies to go on sale in The Pie Room, with all profits going to that chef’s chosen charity.

It’s all kicking off on 1st February with Tom Kerridge, who’s created a Steak and Blue Cheese Pie with Rebellion Ale and Onion Gravy. The £8 pie will be available for a month, with all proceeds going to Hospitality Action. Tom and Calum are also teaming up for a very special collab dinner on 12th February too, serving up a menu of rabbit and bacon en croute, lobster thermidor tart, truffle roast chicken with gouda mash, tirami ‘choux’ with hot chocolate sauce and petit fours, with wine pairings, for ten diners. Tickets cost £250 with all proceeds also being donated to Hospitality Action.
