H&M IS TEAMING UP WITH MUGLER FOR ITS NEXT DESIGNER COLLAB COLLECTION

The French fashion house’s signature silhouettes will soon be coming to a high street near you

We haven’t been able to move for celebrities and Instagram girlies wearing illusion bodysuits so it makes sense that H&M would tap up Mugler, the originator of the trend, for its next designer collaboration collection. Obviously, there are plenty of illusion and cut-out pieces in the range, with the house’s strong shoulder and nipped waist silhouette heavily referenced through corsetry and tailoring.

Alongside plenty of bodycon for the ladies, the men’s selection includes sharp suiting, leather trenches and sculpted jackets that also accentuate the body, with the house’s spiral multi-seaming detail also present on baggy jeans and denim jackets. If you’re not quite ready to dive into a full cut-out catsuit, you can dip a toe into the Mugler world with gender-neutral accessories including sheer gloves and tights, silver and gold body chains, and earrings and necklaces featuring teardrops and the iconic Mugler star.

In teaming up with H&M, Mugler is joining the likes of Balmain, Erdem, Giambattista Valli, Kenzo, Alexander Wang, and The Vampire’s Wife, and we have no doubt that, like those, this collection will also fly off the shelves.
