Refilling your wine is good for the planet and there are some super quaffable, good quality wines on tap out there. If you’re trying to be more green, here are the places to take your bottles and get them refilled – whether it’s white, red, rose, orange, sangria or even vermouth you’re looking for. ????????????
One of the OG wine refill places, Borough Wines serves a selection of colours and qualities on tap from just £6.50. There’s also Sangria too. Find them in Borough Market or London Fields.
Made In Little France
Made in Little France sells only French wines (the clue is in the name), specialising in small producers. They recently opened a second site in Stokey and serve a selection of draft wines from £8.50.
Clerkenwell & Stokey
Having closed the bar and restaurant to focus on the wine shop and deli in lockdown Yardarm offers refills of wine alongside some tasty cheese, meats and ice-cream. A one-stop picnic shop.

Weino Bib specialises in produce on tap. As well as 20 wines, you can also refill your milk and washing up liquid too. Plus they have a good selection of sustainable bags and boxes of wine on offer.

Natural wine bar Yield serves a small selection of wines as well as El Bandarra Vermut on tap. There’s also local breads, cheese, meats and more to go with your tipples as well as goodies from local suppliers.

The tap wine at Forest Wines is as green as it gets. It’s sourced from small independent farmers and imported in bulk by train (and occasionally by sailing boat) to reduce the carbon footprint. We’ll drink to that!

BOB aka Bring Your Own Bottle specialises in wine on tap from its three South London locations. It’s one of the few places where we’ve seen a sparkling variety for just under a tenner too.
M Wine Shop
M Wines might only serve a couple of wines on draft but that doesn’t mean they aren’t big on them – in fact you can get a 5 litre bottle for £95. Imagine carrying that to work.

Born from a love of good booze and the need to find it locally, Bottle is Highgate’s newest independent wine and beer shop. They’ve got some of the best British wines, bottles for under £15 and red & white on tap.

Highbury resto and wine bar Top Cuvée launched Shop Cuvée and begun a nationwide natural wine subscription service. Now they’ve released their first house wine bottled into re-usable bottles to encourage re-use over recycling.
