Help raise money for charities that target homelessness, hunger, poverty and mental health issues by signing up for the second annual Lady Mayoress’s Sleep Out. This March, the fundraising event will see Londoners ditch their beds for a night at Guildhall Yard to raise awareness of the homelessness crisis in the city. All of the net proceeds from each participant’s sponsorships will go towards providing vital support to those experiencing homelessness, with 50% funding the work of The Pret Foundation (aiding grassroots charities and helping to break the cycle of homelessness by providing training and employment) and 50% going towards The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and its beneficiary charities (some of which focus on mental health issues, often a main cause of homelessness). Registration is open now to anyone who wants to get involved.
