HELP SAVE WOODBERRY WETLANDS

Woodberry Wetlands is one of our fave places in London but it’s in real trouble after having to close when lockdown restrictions were introduced in the spring. As a working reservoir it requires more management than other nature reserves, with large portions of the running costs coming from hosting public events and from the Coal House Cafe. Both of those income streams have dried up so now they’re asking for donations from the public to help the Wetlands re-open.

A £16 donation will pay for gloves for two volunteers to maintain the hedgerows and walkways safely; £40 can help pay for the cleaning of the public spaces; and £100 will help dedicated ranger Hadi keep the Wetlands open and free to visit, so give what you can to keep the place alive.
