group of motorbike fanatics and friends have come up with a genius way to raise money for Breast Cancer Care. They’ve gathered together some top names from the art world to customise motorbike helmets that will be auctioned off in aid of the charity. Such a great idea needs a great name, which is why they’ve gone with Helmets for Heroines. We love the name as much as we love the idea!

Artists involved include Tim Rockins of Gorrilaz fame, up-and-coming star Sarah Marple, and even TOWIE’s Lauren Pope. The event, put on by The Gabriel Hounds, will kick off on April 25th with a motorbike ride through central London. With over 200 bikes already registered it’s going to be an amazing spectacle. Once the roar of engines has died down, the auctioning will start. There’s 20 helmets up for grabs to bidders online and in person, with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care.
