HELIO’S CANTINA AT IOL

helios-loti

Institute Of Light opened earlier on this year in Hackney with a cinema, record store, restaurant, bar and bookshop, and now Nigella Lawson’s favourite chef Helio Fenerich has launched Helio’s Cantina in the space. The new residency sees Helio cook up some Mediterranean delights with herbs and spices from IOL’s own roof garden. The menu is made up of a selection of sharing plates including Artichokes alla Giudia with burrata, Zucchini with Sage Fritti and homemade Rigatoni with Slow Cooked Beef & Pancetta Ragu in Chianti, and when it comes to dessert you’ve got his famous Flourless Chocolate Cake with Crème Fraiche. And if you swing by at the weekend, you can dig into his Sunday Feasting Menu. So whether you want a bite to eat before a film or lazy weekend filled with food, you can’t go wrong at Helio’s Cantina.
