couple are too cool for school – power duo consisting of married couple Dee Dee Penny (Dum Dum Girls) and Brandon Welchez (Crocodiles) have re-written the initial description of cute by teaming up to form uber hot band Haunted Hearts. We have already decided we love this combo.

Releasing their debut album Initiation late May via Zoo Music alongside a retro cassette version, they have unveiled the rather wacky video to accompany single ‘Up Is Up (But So Is Down)’. Check out the catchy psychedelic joy below.

No Haunted Hearts tour dates as of yet, but if you’re a lucky bugger you can catch the Crocodiles half of the duo in the last couple of days of their European tour.
