Your fave London cocktail bar for when you want a guaranteed great drink?
Feeling fun: Lyaness. Feeling mysterious: The Spy Bar. Feeling classic: The Connaught.
Your go-to cocktail order?
The impossible question. Kick things off with a martini, get the party going with a Margarita and go to bed after a Manhattan (ideally sweet with an extra cherry as I’m obsessed). I’m also always very partial to a glass of Champagne.
The 2026 bar opening you’re most looking forward to?
It’s outside of London but I am very excited to see what Pippa Guy has been up to at Same Again in Bristol.
What’s In? London’s martini obsession will inevitably continue and new openings like The Martini Bar at Hawksmoor are fuelling this further. The prices and the serve size are so accessible. Expect savoury garnishes, ice cold temperatures and a move towards ordering them with vodka (if you need convincing, order a Vesper).
What’s Out? Shit wine lists in pubs. It’s time to get the pros in and do it properly – no more ordering a house Malbec and hoping for the best.
