In Half Moon Run we trust, and for good reason really. In 2012 the Canadian quartet delivered ‘Dark Eyes’. A brooding debut crafted with precise percussion and intricate harmonies that draws the listen back again and again. AND again, much to our delight the group announce their sophomore effort ‘Sun Leads Me On’ along with a sparkly new single ‘Trust’.

The new single sees the group dip their toe into a pool of synthesiser only to fully submerge themselves; an evident departure from their tapped folk roots, you could say they have come ‘Full Circle’. Lyrically ‘Trust’ is the hindsight of song, looking back at hazy choices with 20/20 vision. ‘Who stole your sunny days?’ Devon Portielje wryly inquires. We hope no one steals Half Moon Run’s sunny days…
