The National Lottery is turning 25 and to celebrate the big birthday, and all the funding that’s been provided to the BFI (that money helped films like Bend It Like Beckham and The King’s Speech get made), it’s giving away half a million cinema tickets this Sunday. Cinemas across the country, including the likes of Picturehouse in Crouch End to The Gate in Notting Hill to the Odeon in Putney and the Rio in Dalston are all participating, and you could use your free ticket to catch The Lion King, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, Blinded By The Light and more.
