HALEY BONAR: KISMET KILL

precisely the mix of dark yet playful imagery in Haley Bonar’s latest track that first drew us to her folk-tinged rock. ‘Kismet Kill’ shows a heavier side to her music. It’s the sort of track that grips you and leads you back for just one more listen (and then another).

The video for the ‘Kismet Kill’ seems to come from some sort of David Lynch nightmare, a prom queen’s rapid fall from glory into a depressing cycle. Not exactly light-hearted stuff! But Bonar’s dreamy vocals draw you out of the gloom, and make this track utterly entrancing. We’re really excited to see where this new heavier material takes us in her upcoming album Impossible Dream.

Haley Bonar comes to London on 27th October to play the uber hip Moth Club. Impossible Dream is expected 5th August on Memphis Industries.
