If you’re looking to brush up on your wine knowledge, there’s a brand new place in Hackney to do so as Winecdote is now open in Netil House. Founded by wine expert Claudia Bastiaensen, Winecdote is all about making learning about wine accessible and fun, so rather than a stuffy atmosphere and complicated terminology, Claudia runs unconventional tastings, speed-dating wine workshops, blind tasting challenges and even online wine courses on Instagram.
There are regular introductory tastings at Winecdote as well as themed masterclasses, with alcohol-free, Italian, French, vegan and rare grape focused sessions coming up over the next few months.
