Record fairs of old: church halls on a weekend, studious, notebook-armed collectors. Today? It’s a much more chill affair. The Hackney Record Fair is back this October celebrating all things vinyl and all things indie with a ton of records from independent labels, record stores and hi-fi dealers up for grabs. There’ll also be DJ sets on throughout the day as well as a bakery dishing out treats and even a record cleaning service to keep you going in between all that crate digging. It’s just one quid entry, so limber up and get ready to hunt for some vinyl treasure.
