Missed Notting Hill this year? Hit up the Hackney Carnival instead. The 2019 Carnival will be bigger and better than ever, with a new procession route from Mare Street to Graham Road, Queensbridge Road, Pownall Road, Trederwen Road to Lansdowne Drive. There’ll be live music at St John’s with sound systems in the churchyard as well as at Hackney Town Hall and Bohemia Place, and of course, it’s not a carnival without some banging street food too.
