Hackney Bridge Kitchens will be opening its doors this month in…you guessed it Hackney. The indoor food hotspot will be host to a number of food traders including West Indian hot bakers Bakes N Stuffingz, seafood nobility Simply Hooked with their standout dish of Sri Lankan spiced fish and chips, Japanese soul food from Rainbo, plant-based Vietnamese dishes from Hanoi Chay, South Indian street food from Tamila, authentic Filipino flame grill from Filigrillz and traditional neopolitan pizzas from Made In Puglia. And in case you were wondering, there’s plenty of booze on offer too, with flowing pints of craft beer and ice-cold serves from The Hangar. Good news for you midweek beer guzzlers who don’t mind sinking a few on a school night, there’s 2 for 1 drinks Tuesday & Wednesday on house beers, wine, single spirits and cocktails.

The space will also be used for workshops, classes, markets, DJ nights and live music throughout the year. The opening coincides with the Hackney Half Marathon, so if you’re thinking of taking part in the gruelling 13.1 mile event, feel free to pop in for a complimentary yoga and pilates class afterwards and perhaps a pint to cool off and rehydrate. And if you’re down there on opening day, there’s 50% off all food & drink on Friday 24th September.
