Truly British brand Hackett is launching a mega collaboration with a total of three British heritage labels. Makers of fine English shoes Joseph Cheaney & Sons, producers of cloth Fox Brothers and menswear accessory favourite Bill Amberg, have formed a partnerships for Hackett’s AW14 collection.
Cheaney & Sons alongside Fox Brothers have created an exquisite range of boots and shoes for the stylish English gentlemen. The limited edition collection is a strict run of only 150 per style. Guys…cards and cash at the ready! A total of six styles are available, each made with high grade English leather available in either black or brown and feature woven wool cloth in herringbone and tartan designs. We particularly love the clever perforations found on the toe caps of each design, forming the iconic Hackett logo.
Soles on your feet not enough? Well the King of ‘Made in England’ is also on board with a line of carefully crafted leather accessories. Bill Amberg has upgraded two Hackett classics, the backpack and briefcase. Hand crafted by master ateliers set deep in the Midlands, each piece is finished in the saddlery style.
The leather used is vegetable tanned, a technique which is both natural and eco-friendly – the results – super soft leather. The classic pieces have been reworked in black with brushed red felt and brown with navy. Both styles feature the perforated bowler hat and umbrella logo.
