The team behind Gunpowder have conquered East London with the opening Madame D’s and Gul & Sepoy, and are hopping over the river to open Gunpowder Market Market at One Tower Bridge. The new place will serve up Calcutta inspired Indian dishes, and include a bakery that turns into a wine bar at night. When it comes to the food, you can expect Goan sausage rolls, mutton sandwiches, orange and cardamom tarts and more. Expected to open in spring 2018, the rest of the deets are still a bit thin on the ground but just watch this space…
