We’re letting a range of creatives and tastemakers take the reins
We feature a ton of interesting and creative people and brands working across a range of industries on London On The Inside, from chefs to drag queens to zookeepers. Now we’re turning the tables and letting some of these individuals loose at London On The Inside with our Guest Editor takeovers. Each month, one of the city’s leading voices will curate the content, taking us inside their industry and sharing what matters most to them.
First up is the founder of magCulture, Jeremy Leslie, who is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the magCulture store this year.

Jeremy Leslie | magCulture

“magCulture has grown from a blog side gig to become a platform celebrating the new generation of independent magazines. ‘We love magazines’ is our tag line and we express that passion via our online Journal, events, podcasts and consultancy. Ten years ago we added the magCulture Shop, an addition that has galvanised everything we do. We have built a community of like-minded people who believe, as we do, that far from being dead, the print magazine is an essential part of the analogue fightback against the soul destroying algorithms stamping out serendipity and joy.”
The magCulture shop
Starting off as a book in 2003, which explored a new wave of independently published magazines, magCulture has grown into a website about editorial design (begun in 2006) and a shop in Clerkenwell (opened in 2015) that stocks over 600 from titles from around the world, including our very own Sausage Press.
