Guerrilla Girls Are Taking Over the Tate Modern for One Night Only

This January, world-renowned art collective Guerrilla Girls will be bringing and evening of music, workshops, film and artist talks to the Tate Modern for a special Lates edition. The night will kick off at 6pm with a drum and dance ceremony performed by Latin American music and arts collective Las Witchas. After that, there’ll be a programme of DJ sets curated by journalist, broadcaster and DJ Kate Hutchinson – expect to see the likes of Big Joanie, GIN & Mica Coca (of Nite Dykez), Sister Midnight and Pam Hogg. There’ll also be a range of talks and workshops, covering topics such as what it means to be a Black woman artist, the importance of art and activism, and equality in the arts sector. And the Guerrilla Girls themselves will be in conversation with the founder of Black Girl Fest, Nicole Crentsil, chatting about all things creativity, activism and feminism. Entry and all activities are totally free, but some require you to book in advance, which you can do below.
