getting pickled? Then you best head to the Pickel Jar pop-up located at The Well in Clerkenwell.

Partnering with Buffalo Trace the guys have created a range of pickle backs, cocktails and refreshing shrubs, combining bitter vinegars with other ingredients, to create a range of drinkies.

We’d recommend sampling the sloe berry & raspberry shrub to get yourself started – it’s fresh and fruity and perfect for that first after work drink – before moving onto a Corn Star Martini. And, as for the pickle backs, well, these certainly aren’t for the fainted hearted. If the full shot of straight bourbon doesn’t give you a kick, the beetroot, cucumber or gherkin vinegar chaser will certainly finish you off…

Open Wednesday to Saturday throughout Autumn, we’d recommend heading there sooner rather than later – when news of this pop up gets out, people in that basement are going to be packed in tighter than pickles in a jar!
