Sausage rolls, steak bakes and jam doughnuts direct to your door…yes all your hangover prayers have been answered because Greggs is trialling a delivery service right here in London. Sounds too good to be true? Well it is…kind of. You have to be ordering from within the very specific radius of 0.4 miles from Greggs Eastcheap or Greggs Cheapside, so that pretty much rules out everywhere outside the City. You have to order before 5pm for a 10am-noon delivery slot, so you’ll have to pre-plan. And you’ll have to spend a minimum of £20…actually this one’s probably not an issue. However, if the trial goes well it could be rolled out to other parts of town and that means pasties for everyone.
