GREENAWAY’S PIE & MASH TO OPEN

Pies have been a big hit this lockdown, with some great delivery options coming to London, but the capital is still losing its famous pie & mash shops. Acclaimed Scottish chef Mark Greenaway is looking to turn the tide on that by opening a brand new one of his own in Covent Garden this spring and to celebrate he’s giving away FREE PIES to the first 250 people that register.

Greenaway’s Pie & Mash will serve up a range of pies made with traditional Scotch pie pastry shells and puff pastry tops (double pastry, just how we like ’em), with fillings including chicken, mushroom & tarragon; beef short rib & pearl onion; butternut squash, goat’s cheese & spinach; confit duck, lentil & orange; lamb shank, peas & mint; and apple pie with cream & custard for pud. You’ll be able to get the pies to take away from the shop as well as hot ones and frozen cook-at-home pies for delivery, and fingers crossed you’re one of the lucky 250 individuals that bags themselves a free pie.

Opens Mon 12th April 2021
45 Villiers St, Charing Cross, London WC2N 6NE
