It’s Great British Beef Week and Smokehouse in Islington is celebrating with a spesh meaty menu created especially for the occasion. The five-course menu will champion quality, provenance and sustainability, with dishes like aged beef fat tostada with guacamole & beef rub, crispy beef noodle salad with soy cured egg yolk, and smoked rare breed ribeye with bone marrow, crushed Jersey Royals & salsa verde, with beef dripping candles adding even more atmosphere.
The menu costs £55 per person, including a complimentary aperitif made with all-British ingredients, with an optional wine pairing available for £35. And if you can’t make it down during Great British Beef Week, there’ll be daily specials featuring British beef running alongside the main menu at Smokehouse throughout the year.
