Gracey’s Pizza Is Opening a Permanent Restaurant in London

The NY and New Haven-inspired joint is setting up inside Arcade Tottenham Court Road

Following in the footsteps of Supa Ya, St Albans-based pizza place Gracey’s is making Arcade its home. First launched as a mobile operation during Covid, founders Grace and James opened a pizzeria in St Albans, winning rave reviews for their New York and New Haven-inspired pizzas.

The pair popped up in London with a residency at Arcade Battersea Power Station last December, before opening a permanent counter in the food hall in the spring of this year and another pop-up in the ArcadeX space in Battersea in the summer. Now Gracey’s is taking up a spot inside the Tottenham Court Road branch of Arcade with a 40-cover restaurant.

The menu will celebrate East Coast pizza with dishes like:

  • NY Cheese with tomato sauce
  • Smokey Ron with pepperoni and aged parmesan
  • Grandma Square Pie with plum tomato sauce, shaved garlic, chilli, oregano and basil
  • Sweet Vera with tomatoes, mozzarella, fior di latte, spicy fennel sausage, sweet peppers and shallots
  • blood orange Negroni cake

There’ll even be a nod to pizza on the cocktail menu with the Gracey’s Sour, made with gin, oregano, tomato, basil and lemon, alongside a Biscotti Milk Punch and a non-alc Cherry Americano.

Speaking about the opening, Grace and James said: “We’ve been perfecting our slices ever since we popped up with ArcadeX this summer at Battersea Power Station. Countless hours have gone into getting the dough just right and nailing those topping ratios. We’ve even woven a little slice of our original St Albans shop into the interior design, so the space feels like home from the moment you walk in. It’s an exciting leap from St Albans, opening a restaurant at the iconic Centre Point at Tottenham Court Road marks a truly massive milestone for us.”
