has been captivated by a few things Scandinavian recently. Remember the winter forest in Brick Lane, the week long Danish pop up bar with furniture, lights, food and drinkies, and then there’s of favourite Scandi joint Cooper & Wolf serving top notch grub. That love affair continues with a one day celebration of the Swedish capital hipster city of Gothenburg and their musical culture.

Way Out West festival is a music festival which takes place every August in Gothenburg. To launch the festival to a UK audience they have a special event taking place at Londons Electrowerkz on Tuesday April 30th which includes live performances and DJ’s.

Sister duo Say LOU LOU who are currently making waves on the music scene thanks to their mesmerizing vocals on their impressive debut single ‘Maybe You’ and captivating singer and lyricist LUNE will be performing on the night. Spinning a taste of Scandinavian classics along with the most cutting edge new music is BBC 6Music’s Adam Dineen along with Way Out West DJ’s. Get involved!
