OK, we’re about to jump on the bandwagon…We bloody love The Goodhood Store! Everybody is in love with the cult East London fashion and lifestyle hub and its hard not to! Housing literally anything you could possibly want or need is available either side of Curtain Road.
Since their launch in 2007, Goodhood has rapidly transformed into a micro department store. With dedicated spaces to both men and womenswear, and not forgetting the online store, a go to site for the most wanted brands.
Earlier this year, the guys hopped across the road to create their lifestyle store. Here you can pick up wallets and luggage, which sit beside the sleek stationary and selection of modern home accessories. As they say themselves…’everything you would require for a good life will be covered.’
To celebrate this vast expansion, Goodhood has commissioned a series of leading artists to design a collection of skateboards. Jake & Dinos Chapman, Will Sweeney, James Jarvis and Ed Davis are just a few of the guys on board.
The Art of Skateboarding will be exhibited in the new 3,000ft flagship and is running from 13th – 21st September alongside the London Design Festival. A late night lock-in on Wednesday 17th September will include a viewing of the exhibition, as well as a live auction of the pieces.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Long Live South Bank skate charity – Literally a match made in heaven!
