If butter chicken is your go-to order when you get an Indian takeaway then you’ll want to pay attention to this. Goila Butter Chicken, the Mumbai-based restaurant from chef Saransh Goila, is now available on Deliveroo in London. Saransh’s signature butter chicken dish has gained a cult following – it won the ‘people’s choice’ prize at India’s World on a Plate food festival in 2019 and he sold out a residency at Carousel in Marylebone when he brought it here in February.
The dish is made using free-range chickens from Yorkshire, butter from the Estate Dairy, an 80:20 (rather than 60:40) ratio of tomato and dairy, and an infusion of smoke. Alongside the main event, Goila Butter Chicken deliveries also come with dal makhani, sourdough naan, jeera rice, pickled sweet & sour shallots, and coriander chutney. Who’s ready to order?
