Mark your calendars, Goatober is coming. It’s been a success across the pond and in this country since it was introduced in 2016, and this month-long celebration of the dairy billy goat meat industry is going to be the best yet. It kicks off on 1st October with a feast at Brigade Bar + Kitchen, where head chef Pete Denhart will be joined by Calum Franklin, Gizzi Erskine, and Karan Gokani of Hoppers for a goat menu paired with beers from Wild Beer Co.

A roster of international chefs, including TJ Steele of Claro in Brooklyn (8th – 13th Oct), Jesse Gardner of Park Street Dining and Añada in Melbourne (15th – 20th Oct) and Hendrik Dierendonck from Carcasse in Belgium (22nd – 27th Oct), will be taking up residence at Carousel to showcase how they cook goat. It’s gonna be goat-tastic.
